Does the pump switch off automatically?
No. The pump does not have a float switch, but can run dry for 45 minutes on its own and does not need to be monitored the entire time.
How low can the tub be used?
Our tub is suitable for particularly narrow, low or angled installation situations. It can be pressed so flat that you can even slide it under 5mm openings.
Is the tub permanently waterproof?
Yes. Our tub was made from a very robust, fabric-reinforced special tarpaulin that is permanently waterproof.
Exception: Damage caused by pointed, sharp objects or tools as well as surfaces. Care must be taken not to damage the tub. However, small holes or cracks in the tub floor can be repaired with our repair kit.
What liquids is the tub suitable for?
The tub is resistant to all common liquids, including contaminated heating water, liquids containing glycol, hydraulic and heating oil and many others
Is the tub really stable when in use?
Bend the tub into exactly the shape you need and it will stay stable and hold the shape. It cannot fold on its own as long as there is no load applied.
How long do the bending elements last?
Our tub has been on the market for 3 years and we have not yet received a complaint due to defective bending metal elements. If they do break, the bending metal elements can be purchased as spare parts and replaced.
Is there an on-off switch for the pump?
No, if the pump is operated with a power supply. Here the power supply must be connected or disconnected from a power source in order to start or stop the pumping process.
Yes, if the pump is powered by a battery. There is an on/off button here.
Can the pump also be used individually?
Yes. Thanks to the very compact design of the pump, it even fits through 50mm openings.
If, for example, the emptying of buffer storage is defective, the pump can be placed from above through a small opening.
What hose length can the pump be operated with?
The DERBLAUE® scope of delivery includes a 3m hose. However, the hose length can be extended up to 50m if necessary.
How does the battery charge?
The battery switch must be pressed when charging. The power supply indicator light switches from green to red during charging.
How can you read the charge status?
The battery has a voltage display. Please note the yellow table on the battery housing.
E.g:
12.6V = 100% charged. 10.8V = 50% charged.
How long does it take for the battery to be fully charged?
The charging process for a completely empty battery takes approx. 3 hours. The pump can also be temporarily operated using only the power supply.
How robust is the battery?
The battery was designed for the construction site and has extra foam inside the housing so that it is very stable and even hard impacts do not affect its function.
